The design shows two-way communication by including a speech bubble in the 'D' of 'DV'

Services Provided

Logo, Colour Palette

In conceptualising the new logo, my primary focus was to instill qualities of inclusiveness, connection, approachability, and communication. Domestic Violence NSW (DVNSW) serves as a non-government peak body supporting domestic and family violence services in New South Wales. The previous brand mark lacked a visual representation of the organisation's strengths, particularly its vital role as active listeners to members and advocates to decision-makers.

The design incorporates the organisation's initials to signify its capacity for two-way communication. Inspired by blue skies and a touch of green, the colour palette conveys a blend of empathy and strength, reflecting DVNSW's leadership with authority, authenticity, and a sense of safety. This design aims to resonate with members, as well as key stakeholders in governments and corporate organisations.
